PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Hydrocolloid dressing is an elastomeric dressing and composed of medical pressure sensitive adhesive, carboxy methyl cellulose (CMC) particles, etc.

- The surface is covered with semi-permeable and frosted polyurethane film, and polyurethane foam can also be covered to strengthen liquid absorption performance. Film thickness: 0.025mm - 0.035mm.

- When the colloid thickness is 0.04mm:
   Moisture absorption 2.40g/10cm2 /24h/37ºC, 2.46g/10cm2 /72h/37ºC
   Moisture absorption amount 2.74g/10cm2 /24h/37ºC
                                                       3.52g/10cm2 /72h/37ºC ( for reference only )
- Liquid absorption capacity: 2.83g/g /24h/37ºC, 3.23g/g /72h/37ºC ( for reference only )
- PPH 5.7, the acid and alkali resistance range is PH3 - PH12.
- Moisture absorption amount and liquid absorption amount can be adjusted according to clinical needs.

PRODUCT INDICATIONS:

All kinds of low - medium exudative wounds.

- Prevention of pressure ulcer and treatment of stage I - II pressure ulcer.

- Superficial burn with small area.

- Postoperative wound.

- Wounds of skin donor site.

- Chronic wounds at granulation tissue growth stage and epithelization stage.

- Venous ulcer, phlebitis, lymphangitis, etc.

CAUTIONS:

- Before use, the wound shall be thoroughly cleaned and the wound skin shall be wiped dry.

- A hydrocolloid dressing about 2cm wider than the wound edge shall be selected to ensure sufficient adhesion with the skin.

- If the depth of the wound exceeds 5mm, appropriate dressing shall be selected to fill the cavity before using hydrocolloid dressing.
- This product is not suitable for wounds with large amount of exudate.
- The swelling and whitening of the dressing after absorption and expansion are normal phenomena. When absorption is saturated, it is suggested to change the dressing.
- In the early stage of application of hydrocolloid dressing, it may sometimes be found that the wound is enlarged instead, which is caused by the debridement of dressing and is a normal phenomenon.
- Due to the fusion of hydrocolloid molecules and exudates, gel is formed. Sometimes it looks like purulent secretion, so it is mistaken for wound infection. It will be fine after rising the gel with normal saline.
- The use of hydrocolloid dressings sometimes produces a certain odor, which can disappear after cleaning the wound with normal saline.

- If there is leakage around the dressing, please replace the dressing immediately.
